Wise Owl Races started with the kind of conversations runners have on long runs: race ideas, overlooked parks, routes that would make great events, and formats we wished existed closer to home.

We wanted to build races that feel intentional. Trail relays that turn into all-day adventures. Camps that help people take the next step into ultra running. Courses that make the landscape feel like part of the experience instead of just a backdrop.

Our events are designed around clear communication, thoughtful logistics, strong community partnerships, and places across Tennessee that deserve more time on foot. We work closely with parks, local businesses, and running communities to create race weekends that feel personal instead of mass-produced.

Every Wise Owl event also supports organizations connected to the preservation, maintenance, and protection of the land we run on. That part matters to us as much as the races themselves.
