Wise Owl Races was started in Nashville by two runners who wanted to build the kind of events we have not seen enough of in Tennessee. Trail relays. Ultra camps. Original concepts in places worth showing up for.

From the ultra-distance to the short course, our races are built to encourage, introduce, and challenge runners to experience the trails, parks, and quiet places in our state’s backyard. We work with local sponsors and small running shops to make race mornings feel made, not assembled.

Every Wise Owl event benefits a designated organization committed to the preservation, maintenance, and protection of the land we run on. That part is non-negotiable.
